My hay was made in the last hot sunny spell in late September! So now my Dartmoor ponies have fodder for the winter ahead, which I hope won't be so wet as the last one! Farmer Frank (one of the stars in the Rainbow book series) cut it, I turned it over several days and rowed it up for him to bale.
